- To send service communications — account verification emails, password reset messages, and important policy updates
- To prevent fraud and abuse — detecting unusual activity and protecting the security of the Service
- To comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests from authorities where required
We do not use your data to serve you advertisements. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Live Broadcast and Public Scorecard Links
When you start a match, the app generates a unique scorecard URL. This link is:
- Shareable by you — you control who receives the link
- Accessible without login — anyone with the link can view the live scorecard in a browser
- Not indexed by search engines by default — links use randomised strings and are not submitted to search engines
The scorecard visible at this link includes match name, team names, player names, ball-by-ball data, and match statistics. Do not include real full names or personal details of minors in player rosters if you intend to share your match link publicly.
Match links remain accessible for 90 days after the match ends, after which they expire unless you save the scorecard to your account.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Cloud hosting and storage — to store match and account data securely
- Analytics providers — to understand app usage (data is anonymised or pseudonymised)

When you delete your account, all personal data associated with it is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

16. Offline Mode and Local Storage
When you score a match offline, ball-by-ball data is stored locally on your device. This data syncs to our servers when your device reconnects to the internet. If you delete the app before syncing, locally stored match data that has not yet been uploaded will be permanently lost. We are not responsible for data lost due to app deletion, device loss, or factory reset before a sync has completed.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an in-app notification to active users
- Send an email notification to registered users where the change affects how we process their data
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with a change, you may delete your account before the new policy takes effect.
